cyrus-imspd software package provides Internet Message Support Protocol daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cyrus-imspd
cyrus-imspd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cyrus-imspd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cyrus-imspd *
You will get with cyrus-imspd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
